On a lighter and happier note...Wes is now a player on the Parkersburg South High School basketball team! Woohoo! We're sooo proud of him! GO PATRIOTS!!
Okay, I've had my fun for the day...I gotta get back to typing up this paper. Comments are much appreciated! Thanks!

| I'm sooooo pumped for Youth Retreat! For those of you who don't know, every year my church's youth group (The Master's Club) goes away for a weekend. In the words of my youth pastor, Scott: "Fall Youth Retreat - A great weekend event designed to allow teenagers the opportunity to take a break from "normal" life and reflect on their relationship with Jesus Christ and their friends who follow Him. Of course, large amounts of fun will be a requirement." We leave for Jackson's Mill Friday at 4:30 and will be coming home Sunday afternoon at about 2. So, I'm ready! We're gonna have a blast...as usual.
Because I've got such a big weekend ahead of me, I have so much to do before I leave! I have quite a bit of homework left to do and my room is a disaster, so I gotta clean it up. Then I gotta work a couple of nights this week. Oh, and I have to find time to pack for this crazy trip!
Well, I'm gonna go help my mommy with dinner. (Alright, I know what you're thinking...and, no, I'm not actually fixing dinner...I'm setting the table.)
Oh, and before I forget...my brother is trying out for the basketball team tonight. GOOD LUCK, WES! KNOCK 'EM DEAD LIKE YOU ALWAYS DO! *MWAH!

| I don't have a whole lot of time, but here's a little somethin' for ya to read...
We think Adam tore his ACL tendon in his knee playing football the other day...which is not a good thing. He'll possibly have to have surgery on it and will have to wear a cast for about 8 weeks. My dad, who might give Adam therapy, said that he is lucky he didn't tear it all the way. Yesterday he was in a lot of pain, but I mean...you should see his knee. It's pretty messed up. So, please keep him in your prayers.
Well, I have to go get ready for work...I go in at 5 and get off at 9:30. So, leave me some love for later!

| Okay...so I've never laughed so hard in my life! Ya'll should've come to church with me last night...Bethany was crackin' us all up! We had missionaries from Turkey come and speak at our service...and they have two small kids. Well, Bethany was put in charge of babysitting them while their parents were up on the platform doin' their thing. The little girl is like, I dunno...5 or 6 at the most and her accent makes it hard to understand what she is saying, so when Bethany asked her what her name was, it kinda came out as "Wyoma." So, Bethany called her Wyoma the whole evening, because that's what she thought the little girl said. Later on, I saw the little girl running, and Bethany's yelling, "Wyoma!" But the little girl kept going because she saw her mom and dad. I was like, "Wyoma? Who would name their kid that?" and didn't think anything else of it...until it drove me to the point where I just HAD to ask, and Bethany was like, "Oh my gosh, her name is Viola. I've been callin' her Wyoma like the whole night." And I busted out laughing...it was so HILARIOUS! For those of you who do know Bethany Richardson, I'm sure you're laughing right now, too...can't you picture her watching a foreign kid, calling it by the wrong name? LOL!
So, anyways, I went out to the college bright and early this morning to schedule my classes for the Spring semester. Turns out I got all of them that I wanted...which is unusual because I'm only a Freshman...you know how that goes. But, it's gonna be a great semester...busy...but great.
Oh, and did I tell you I'm getting a car?!? Well, if not, I'M GETTING A CAR!!! My dad came home from work last night about 5:30 or so, and told me that a lady we know is gettin' ready to sell her car and said that if I want it, it's mine! It's beautiful! It's a Nissan Maxima...2000 model, I believe...really low mileage...and it's a really pretty tan color, too. It's so perfect for me. And I hate to admit it, but...Dad, you were right...it's better to wait for the right one. All this time I have been complaining about not having a car, and there for a while I was ready to just steal one. Well, not really, but you know what I mean. And now, I'm gettin' an awesome car! Hey, Tim Cheadle...we're gonna have matching cars! Haha...I know what you're thinkin'...I won't have to drive your vehicle at Youth Retreat...I mean, come on...Crystal was all nice and calm in the passenger's seat, she was havin' a blast...but you looked like you were having a nervous breakdown. Oh, and...uh...sorry about the tires!
So, I'm pumped! Things are goin' really well for me...what else can I say? I'm blessed!
Yours truly,
Lindsay
